I’m Annabel, the new girl here at OLIVIA&CO. I’ve been here for the past week for my year 10 work experience. I thought I would reach out and say hi to you guys and give you a little taste of what I've been doing behind the scenes!
If you’ve been on the OLIVIA&CO. website recently and noticed name-changes for some of the products, chances are, it’s one of the accessories I gave new names to, for example the forget-me-not notebook and the New-Yorker bag! That’s one of the things I’ve been doing while working here. I’ve also helped with writing some product descriptions, as well as articles for a new project called ONews, which is coming very shortly.
I had the incredible opportunity to learn how to use the monogram machine from the lovely Anaita, who helped me customise some of my own products!
Decisions, Decisions, Decisions! Vegan leather or satin? It took us a while to figure out how the new product packaging should look.
I was able to see how the business is run behind the scenes, and all the hard work put in by the team here at Olivia&Co to get the orders shipped off to the customers!
As you can see in the photo above, I got to know OLIVIA&CO. through a photoshoot I did with them earlier in the year. I reached out to Anaita with an email when I began thinking about work experience opportunities for school. I've really, really enjoyed being here since my favourite subject in school in Business Studies!
